There is a problem with the 4.9 version of the Netware client for Windows NT/2000/XP that causes a general lock failure when used with DBISAM. The problem has to do with the 4.9 client not allowing the last byte in a 4 gigabyte range to be locked. This is exactly what DBISAM attempts to lock when performing locking in certain cases.
