# 4419 ElevateDB Server Can Experience a #505 Error Message During Shutdown

During server shutdown, the ElevateDB Server can experience the following error:

Error 505 - The ElevateDB server cannot be stopped (Thread error: The handle is invalid. (6))

Comments

The problem was caused by improper destruction of the client threads in the server during shutdown.

Resolution

Fixed Problem on 5/20/2016 in version 2.24 build 3
