# 4487 Lazarus 1.6 Encountering Compilation Errors

I am getting the following errors when trying to install the LCL package. It appears to be coming from edbcomps:

edbcomps.pas(9195,52) Error: Incompatible type for arg no. 2: Got "TBytes", expected "PChar"
edbcomps.pas(9196,52) Error: Incompatible type for arg no. 2: Got "TBytes", expected "PChar"
edbcomps.pas(9222,54) Error: Incompatible type for arg no. 2: Got "TBytes", expected "PChar"

I am using the standard 32Bit release of Lazarus 1.6 with FPC 3.0.0 running on Windows 7 64Bit.
