"Overall, I think that you have the fastest, easiest to use and most stable product of them all. Heck, I've purchased and downloaded trial versions of other products. Some I never got to use because they were just too complicated to set up and use. Others, I started using and hit either tremendous performance issues, or stupid bugs that never got fixed. With other products, I have set up a grid where based on user input in certain fields, the rest of the grid (and underlying tables) would get updated. I also set up a button where the user would click in order to execute the updates, which would take about 3-8 seconds, depending on the underlying data. Thanks to DBISAM's performance, I was able to eliminate the button and instead have an OnChange event fire whenever the user typed the data in the grid. With DBISAM, the update time went down from 3-8 seconds to 0-.5 seconds! Best of all, no bugs!!!! I can't wait for the C/S version! Thank you for a great product! "

"I recently replaced Local Interbase with DBISAM in an application I have developed, first with Delphi 1 and then Delphi 5. I slightly miss having triggers available for keeping some data synchronized, but in the overall picture, I am really pleased with DBISAM. It took about 3 days to convert a set of three programs and involved some extra programming to replace the functions of the triggers. I probably spent about 3 hours per program on the actual replacement of the components. I am distributing my app on the net and since I don't have to distribute the BDE and I don't have to do a double install, the distribution is much easier. The download is about 40% smaller and the installation takes a just a few seconds. Also queries with DBISAM are at least as fast as Interbase or faster. I searched for a replacement for about the last year and none of the other alternatives I tried came close to DBISAM."
