Hi,

We have a client who is using DBISAM Client/Server (v3.21). They had a
crash recently and I went to look at the dbisam server log, however it
wouldn't allow me to open it (said that it was locked), It also wouldn't
let me copy it or basically do anything with it until I actually stopped
the dbisam server engine.

Is this the usual behaviour for server logs? Or am I doing something
wrong with the installation/options?

Thanks in advance

It is normal. Use the SrvAdmin utility to read the log file of a running
server.
