Thread PC freezing at 12 noon

We supply an application which runs on WinXP Pro using DBISAM c/s v3.30 (I know, we will upgrade eventually). We have a customer
whose PCs regularly freeze at 12 noon. No other customer is reporting this problem and we are convinced it's not DBISAM or our
application. However, for completeness we need to cover all the angles. So my question is - has anybody experienced a similar problem
with DBISAM and if so what was the solution?

TIA
William

I haven't seen any reports from anyone regarding anything like this, as
would be expected.  The only thing in DBISAM that is "time-based" is the
server-based scheduled events in version 4.x.

Sure, it could be anything like that that is misbehaving.

Thanks Hüseyin & Tim.

We've checked every schedule we can think of internal to our app or any other like Anti Virus. We've also checked the Windows scheduler.
Nothing is scheduled for around 12:00.

As I said, I was not expecting there to be anything from a DBISAM angle but I had to check every angle.

We've now found that "every 12:00" is actually "it can happen every day for a week and then be fine for ages that only occurs at some of
the installations". It could be something a user is doing or even an intermitent hardware fault. I'll keep scratching my head and leave you
in peace.

Thanks again
William

Check the date and time properties and see if it is trying to synchronize
(and failing) with a time server (Internet Time tab).
