Servername, Serverdescription |

Robert Eastlack | Is there any problem with changing the engine's servername or serverdescription directly in the dbsrvr application? We're trying to tie the server
more directly to the application and make sure they are running the matching version of the server. Using servername would make this easy to check from the client, but I'm not sure if it would cause problems if we changed it every time there was a new build of the server. |
