If I was hosting say 5 DBisam servers and I had port 12005
and 12006 open for all 5 would there be any problems ?
I have tried it on a home network and things went ok but
the www at peak times early evenings and weekends for
instance, I dont know.

As long as each database server is bound to a different IP address,
regardless of whether the database servers are running on the same machine
or not, then it will be fine.  For example, you could run two database
servers on the same machine provided that they were bound to two different
NICs with two different IP addresses.
