"Brian Kennedy"
Hello.  In all of my years using DBISAM, this is the first time I have ever
seen this error.  I didn't see anything current on this error in the
newsgroups.  Client writes:

"I'm installing your application across my network, and when I installed it
at my remote location I received the following error message:  DBISAM Engine
Error# 15002 Error uncompressing data.  I haven't had this problem when
installing on the local network."

Any ideas on the problem?  Thank you in advance.

Brian Kennedy
Version 4.22 Build 6.

Is the database server and the client application both using the same 4.22
B6 ?  If so, then the only thing I can think of that it would be is
environmental, such as a firewall or filter that is interfering with the
comms.

My client writes:

"There are no firewalls in place between our two buildings.  We have one router at each location, and they are configured to let anything go between our two IP addresses.  I have installed
Timeclock Plus at the other location, and it works off of the database stored at our main location.  That has run without problems.  The only other piece of information is that the connection
between the two buildings is relatively slow at 384k.  Could that cause any problems?"

Tim - Is there anything else I can check?

Thanks

Is the connection hard-wired or wireless ?  I can't see how TCP/IP would
allow incomplete transmissions, but I guess that physical interruptions
might be possible in a way that could cause some flaky results.
