Tim,

Do you have an example of the usage of Userdata?

I have read some of the earlier post on this but don't understand much
of it.

If you look at the dbsrvr.dpr source code provided with DBISAM you can see
how it is used to hold a user session object for display purposes.

Tim,

I have read the source of dpsrvr.dpr.  Unfortunately, it is still Greek
to me.  I have no experience with creating and manipulating my own
objects. From what I see, there are quite a few things to be done and
they have to be done in different places.

Any help would be appreciated.

Well, that's basically what the UserData variable is used for - shipping
around an object reference that you use for your own display purposes.
DBISAM doesn't dictate that it be used at all, or for what purposes it is
used for.
