ElevateDB isn't as compatible with the BDE as DBISAM, mainly because that
isn't its main purpose.  However, minus a few items in DBISAM that were
there strictly for BDE compatibility, such as logical record numbers,
ElevateDB is still fairly easy to convert to from the BDE.  Also, we should
have BDE database migration capabilities shortly in the EDB Manager, and
that will make the data conversion process very simple.
