When DBSRVR writes to log, does it block *ALL* threads with CriticalSection ? IOW, I have one application with almost 100 users and if they log on and out many times a day, the server log record can cause a small delay in the server ? I know this is minimal but I need to know if it occurs or not. Eduardo |

<< When DBSRVR writes to log, does it block *ALL* threads with CriticalSection ? >> Yes, it does. Mainly because the logging is normally very infrequent. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
