Hi,

To get around issues with peoples firewalls etc, is it a viable option
to run the DBISAM server on port 80 (assuming the machine isnt already
hosting a website) ?.

I did run a V3 server like this without complaint,
the site was hosting a website also.
I guess some will say its not good practice and
firewalls these days may not shake hands with
your software. Tim got the ports registered so
I cant see why some hosts dont open them. I
just got an early xmas present after advice in these
groups I got a VPS its not up yet but will be soon
all ports open yeehaaaaaaaa
