anf | I have an issue where I am running DBISAM server with just the administration utility, new PC and I get an error that this IP has been blocked. Im not sure how this could have happened, but I have read through the forums that IPs can be denied. If this is the case how can I remove them just using the administration utility, etc... Im trying to run it locally and have tried both IPs with no luck (10.0.0.1 and 127.0.0.1)... please help... |

If you have accidentally blocked the 127.0.0.1 IP address in the Server Administration Utility, then the only way to unblock it is to log in using the Server Administration Utility on a different machine, or delete the dbsrvr.scf file and start over from scratch with the configuration of the DBISAM Database Server. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

anf | Hi Tim
Its a new box with DBISAM server installed and I have done this same setup a few times thats why I cant understand why I would have anything blocked. I haven't even setup a machine to block IP ranges before. I will try deleting the file and im also going to try and log in from another workstation remotely to see what happens, thanks... |
