Multicore Processor with DBISAM 4.22 |

David Gurevitz | I Have a performance problem with DBISAM with Windows 2000 Server in a Quad.Core Xeon Intel Dell Server (2.4mhz).
This server only runs DBISAM 4.22 Enginee Build 4. There are about 100 conections active in general. Sometimes, when there are many big queries running on, I see that it's using only 2 processors of the 4 (the first and the third ones). Then the performance of the server is bad! In a dual core Xeon server it uses mostly one processor only. Is there a way to fix it? Thanks David |

This behavior is controlled by Windows and DBISAM does not have anything to do with this. It (the DBISAM server) only creates new threads that are controlled by the OS. Eduardo |

Thanks Eduardo! So, do you know if I change to Win2003 Server it will fix it?
