Thread Client/Server in Terminal Server Sessions
Thu, Dec 4 2008 1:56 AMPermanent Link

"Al Vas"
Hi,

Just a question on terminal service connections and DBISAM server.  If
clients log in to a terminal server session and then run a DBISAM database
application all users have the same IP address.  How does the DBISAM server
handle this ie know which user to serve requests to?  The reason I ask is we
have just had a client move all heir logins to terminal server and since
they have done this our application is serving many disconnection errors
making it basically unuseable.

DBISAM V3.30

Thanks

Alex

Just like any other client connection - the client IP address is the same,
but the port for the client is selected from within the user-usable range of
client port numbers.
