Do you want to use the DBISAM Database Server, or just a local ISAPI/CGI/ASP
application that directly accesses the DBISAM databases ?

i want to use the DBISAM Database Server.
let me explain my project

i want to make a centerlize database,
data will be inputs remotly from multiple locations via dialup or DSL

what do you recommend? should i install a Server with static IP address? or buy a domain hosting etc. upload the database their
i don't know much aobut hosting, domain etc.

Yes, in such a case you'll need a server machine with a static IP address or
a server machine that can at least be exposed via a dynamic DNS service so
that it can be found using a domain name such as db.elevatesoft.com.

You'll also need to make sure that ports 12005 and 12006 are open on the
server machine's firewall.  You can ignore 12006 if you don't want remote
administrative access to the DBISAM Database Server.  If using a router,
you'll need to use port forwarding to forward all requests for port 12005
and 12006 to the server machine's internal IP address.
