From the manual DBISAM_TRANSLOCK (10229) Transaction cannot lock the database '<DatabaseName>' This error occurs when an attempt is made to start a transaction and the transaction cannot place a special transaction lock on the database. Usually this indicates a hardware failure or a failure due to an excessively large amount of transaction or write activity on the database that is preventing the transaction lock from being acquired. Please see the Locking and Concurrency topic for more information. so I would guess that something else has your database already locked or there's a problem with hardware. Roy Lambert |
