Upgrading from Standard to Client-Server |
Mon, Oct 31 2011 10:53 PM | Permanent Link |
Ken M Microlynx Systems Ltd. | Hi,
I am currently using DBISAM VCL Standard with Source, building code under C++Builder 6. I am going to be upgrading to DBISAM VCL Client-Server with Source. Is there a step-by-step guide for doing this? Or do I just uninstall my current version and then re-install the new version. Thank you, Ken M Microlynx |

Raul Team Elevate | Ken,
You just uninstall and re-install the new version. The components remain the same so everything will just work "as is". Since you now also have a full dbisam server included you can do c/s apps running with remote session against the dbisam server as well as local apps.
