Etienne Mercier | Hi,
A new year starting, I bought a new server on which I have installed windows webserver 2008 and dbsrvr. I copied the content of my 2003 server on the new one and I made a try. Bad luck. It works but it is very very slow because of the database access. Do you have any ideas about a setting in 2008 parameters or DBSRVR parameters I missed? Thanks. Etienne. |

Etienne Mercier | Is it a problem if the client is using version 4.30 and the server 4.31?

Etienne Mercier | Now I have the same version on both side: server and client, and the problem is still. The web answer is very very slow.

<< Bad luck. It works but it is very very slow because of the database access. Unless something environmental (AV software, hot backup software) is interfering with the ability of the DBISAM Database Server to read/write data normally, there should be nothing different about 2008 Server that will cause this type of slowdown. Is the data directly on the drives of the 2008 server machine ? -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
