Hi,

Could there be any problems when using Delphi 7, DBISam server 3.30 (in
client server setup) and Windows 7? I regularly get complaints from my
customers about freezing clients en table read errros.

Thanks,
Ronald

I'm using that set up - Delphi 7 and DBISAM3.30 - both Peer2peer and Client
Server.  I develop with Window XP and many users have Windows 7.

No problems relating to DBISAM at all.

My only problems lie with Window 7 users - the screen sizes I see in the IDE
(using Windows XP) are different from what they see - they sometimes get
components like buttons and edits half hidden off the right or bottom of the
screen.  Resizing the screens doesn't help as the components are often right
or bottom anchored.  Fixed by leaving extra margins at the right and bottom
and "hoping" that I have got it right.

Cheers

Jeff

Thanks.
I do not have the with the buttons that you describe. Could it be that the
client uses an enlarged font (125%). Then I get into trouble too.
