< What happens if ShareIt accepts a stolen card?
Who gets dinged for the amount? Does Share-It eat
it because it's their mistake, or do they simply pass it
on to the merchant? >
The honest answer is that I don't know because it hasn't yet
happened to us. But I do notice when I *buy* through
ShareIt that they insist on a "real" email address rather
than a "free" email address like @yahoo.com.
And from our point of view, these are sales which we would
not be getting otherwise. The customer is issued with a
unique key, and we accept the risk of an occasional default.
