Thread Installation packages for Delphi 2007?

Hi Tim,

I just got D2007, my first upgrade since 6 or 7 years. A new VM is running,
D2007 is installed, and now I have to install all the software I need every
day. Like DBISAM. Do you plan to publish a D2007 installation package for
DBISAM and ElevateDB in the next days? I know I can install it manually, but
it takes time, and I am lazy Smile

After EDB build 2 is out, I will get a D2007 build done for both.

It actually takes less time to install manually than to download and run
the install!

Manual install takes more brain time, and that's what matters for me Smile

Me too WinkJust upgraded from D6.

I think I like it...but I definitely know I HATE the help system.

If you ever want to know something about the array function in Visual Basic Scripting Edition, just buy Delphi 2007 _FOR WIN 32_, mark the word "Variant" and hit F1. The help is afterwards so ashamed of itself, that it produces an AV when
you close it...

I hope they fix this anti-help soon...should just dump everything not related to Delphi and Win32 (=about 90%), and it might be usable.

Apparently the D2007 OLH was fixed of the problems that I suffer with having bought D2006 so tough Smiley

Kinda. I install D2007 on a VM that runs on a different machine, so I access
the VM via VNC. Works great. Installing a D2007 ready package means some
mouse clicks, and check it after some minutes, in the mean time I can do
something else.

If everything works as expected, I'll register D2007 and copy the VM on my
real machine.
