No my server has not hit the bottle. I was
wondering has anyone tried a Linux server
running Wine to run socket servers such
as Elevates products ?
Phewwwwwwwwwwww

Santa may bring me a 1u server with a 12
month Colo-cation  subscription  all paid up.
The biggest outlay will be on the OS if I go
the windows route, SuSe server is free as is
Ubuntu.

I'm not aware of anyone running such an environment, but that doesn't mean
that someone hasn't tried it.

Just curious - why use Wine? (I mean, why not use the native linux DBISam
server)?

Or is that where the socket servers *such as* elevate's products come into
it?  Wink

I wish I still believed in Santa. Then maybe he would come and give me one
of those too.  ;-(

Cheers
