David | I'm converting my app from a fixed size to resizable. So I now have the
unbridled joy of checking all the controls to make sure resizing and maximizing works correctly. |

Fernando Dias Team Elevate | David,
I'm planning on doing the same with one of my apps and realized that most of the forms must be completely redesigned . It seems it's not so easy as I thought. Did you try any third party component to automatically resize the controls? -- Fernando Dias [Team Elevate] |

I've been using ElasticForm since D4 (I think) to allow user to resize from 640x480 to whatever their full screen size was - the controls & fonts just got bigger. But some words of warning to you both: 1. keep the aspect ration of your form the same - allowing users to grow / shrink a form in only one direction will, apart from simple ones, lead to some pretty interesting distortions either of the controls or the layout 2. Vista. Many of my forms are very carefully laid out. Vista uses wider borders than XP and previous - adds up (I think) to c15 pixels. Plus the border width can be set by the user if they know where to look. Roy Lambert |

"Iztok Lajovic" | David,
don't forget that visible components that are created during process run you have to resize by yourself.
