Thread Is D2006 a game?

Well that got your attention Smile

Every time I start D2006 my mouse goes into slow motion mode. To get
from one side of the screen to other takes several spins at the track
ball.

It turns out that I had the option "Disable acceleration in games"
turned on (who knows why since I don't play games). This is a Logitech
trackball.

Anyway, turning that feature off now gives me the responsive mouse that
is already apparent in other applications.

For some reason Logitech switches of acceleration whenever D2006 starts.

I have a Logitech MX1000 at home, but have not tried it with BSD 2006 (yes
- I broke down and bought it once all my efforts to legally acquire D7
failed). So Jon, what do think so far, other that the library/upgrade
issues?

Neal,

I'm still struggling with the last few bits Smileyof library
conversions so have not really done anything useful. It certainly
will take some getting used to in terms of where to find things.

I'm glad I got the trackball issue solved as that was just a frustration
taking away from important issues.

I hoping next week to port my largest application over to D2006
(keeping all the old environment (D7) at the ready, of course).

As to your MX1000... just watch out for the games option in the
setup (if it exists).
