.... and it looks pretty good!

First time since D7 I'm actually enjoying it.
Fairly quick, not too overloaded (cause you can start
all personalities separately), can be customized back to D7
fully undocked look, fixes some of the VCL bugs, that
were there since D5.

P.S.
The splash screen is horrendous. It's black and it grows!
Poor old buggy image editor has been finally put to death.
Good riddance, I say... but no replacement!? So, I guess, we are
not editing glyphs and icons this year. Oh, that's probably why
it's got the same icon as D2005 (for all personalities!) .
Borland should have really been called Shameland. Gotta love them.

Have you run into the disappearing main menu problem.
I find, on many occasions, flipping to other application
I can't restore the main menu.  The other windows
are restored but I don't have access to the
main menu items.

I haven't played enough to see what the problem is.

D7 is like a comfortable pair of slippers.
I guess I'll get used to D2006 eventually.

Click a few times the Escape button and you'll see the main menu

Nope that doesn't do it.
Every time I drop to the desktop with [Windows] D
I lose the main menu when I return to D2006. If I close the
open module and restore D2006 the menu then reappears and then I can
restore the last open module. Tedious but it works.

I guess I just have to stop dropping to the desktop

I frequently get the same problem in Delphi 6.  I just hit Alt-F (which shows the main menu and drops down the File menu) then Esc.  Works every time.

Well tried it but no luck... The problem does not exist if I use the
default layout just when I use the "Classic Undocked"

I guess I've got to get used to the D2006 way of doing things.

I tried to reproduce it and was only lucky one time in undocked
mode to get top portion disappear. Then I clicked right mouse button
on Delphi's tray button and selected Restore and everything restored
just fine. After that, I was unable to reproduce it again.
(Seem to only happens once after start). It behaves strangely in
undocked mode, I give them that. It doesn't react on Logo-M
shortcut too.

For me it happens every time... but I was using Alt-Tab to restore
or a left click on the tray.

Once I used your right click | restore method, it didn't happen again.
until the next time I started up D2006.  By the way, with the main menu
"disappeared", it's really easy to crash D2006

D7 still looks good.
