Roy Lambert NLH Associates Team Elevate | Out of interest what do others think of the new help system - a step forward or its disappearing down a big black hole somewhere? You can probably guess my opinion - I've just come from fighting with it. I'm sure everything I want is in there somewhere but I can really understand how people make money on the xxx for Dummies books!

Jon Lloyd Duerdoth | Cumbersome & slow (& I'm not talking about me )
Certainly not an improvement over the old style. Steve Forbes Team Elevate | Hi Roy,
Absolutely the worst thing about BDS2006! -- Best regards Steve "Roy Lambert" <roy.lambert@skynet.co.uk> wrote in message news:4CAEF972-06BC-44A0-98D9-2256EA6A72C7@news.elevatesoft.com... > Out of interest what do others think of the new help system - a step > forward or its disappearing down a big black hole somewhere? The help system, the delay when you switch from designer to code (or the other way?) and some problems if you are using inherited forms heavily are my reasons to wait for D2007. Or for a contract where I have to use D2006 D5 is soooo old, but at least it does something exactly when I hit a key. Btw, why on eartch can't they add a feature that sets the version numer of all projects of a group to the same number? Can't be _that_ hard. Ralf |
