This is one of the biggest problems. It seems that the range of experiences and problems is so great that there's no common thread. Its almost like there are many different versions out there in the wild and they're cross breeding Smiley

I was pointed to the right solution - PATH - what had set this and messed it up I know not but I've zapped the Windows PATH and added overrides into D6 & D2006 and all is well again - how long for is up for guessesSmiley

I've become quite happy with D2006...
The hot fixes published recently tune up the performance
so it reacts (for me) much the same as my "old slipper" D7.
Funnily enough going back into D7 the other day seemed cumbersome.

I've finally got things running just fine... don't ask me to do it
again "real soon" tho'
