Nero has just annoyed me once to often! I'm now open for nominations for its replacement.

I found Nero to be a problem for writing directly from my application.
I've been using Roxio with no problems (so far)

It looks brilliant but I was just looking for something for my own use to make backups not for building into software.

Can't say.  However, if the computer uses the Roxio drag-to-disk
setup, the CD/DVD can be written to like any other drive.

I'm trying to write a software to burn files to disk that is a one
button solution for users that find one button solutions complex. I
haven't been able to import the Nero Com object into Delphi without
errors. I hate to buy another language just to accomplish one task...

Hi Roy,

I've been using DeepBurner (www.deepburner.com) lately.  Simple but
effective.
