"Bobby Gallagher" | Hi
Any recommendation for a DBTreeView - 1 to work with master/detail relationships. I have Dev Express but it is for single self referencing tables only. I have a bunch of records and want to display them by category. When a user expands the branch they see all records in that category Regards Bobby |

Sean McCall | Sounds like you want the Express Quantum Grid. Does that and a whole lot

"Bobby Gallagher" | Hi Sean
I have Express Quantum grid but it does not do what I want - at least I don't think it does. what I am really looking for is something like an explorer view of the information. All the categories as the top level and then when you expand the branch you get a list of the records within that category. Dev Express grid does something like that but not as graphically as windows file explorer Regards Bobby "Sean McCall" <someone@somewhere.net> wrote in message news:A31B85F6-E88B-4E87-BE7A-B30A00ABB92E@news.elevatesoft.com... > Sounds like you want the Express Quantum Grid. I have been to W2W in years .. still the same old site ;(
I would look at DevExpress again and work on the look/styles. Also, they have an older component (MasterView) that may be of interest. If you really need a great tree to handle data, Look at VST: http://www.delphi-gems.com/VirtualTreeview/ Simply the best tree available. Regards, Scott.
