Thread OT: RAD 2007 Update 3

I'm sorry if this is too off-topic but I'm a little concerned about
updating my D2007 to Update 3.

In the on-line information for the update CodeGear states that D2007
will be completely uninstalled and then reinstalled. I assume that in
doing so they have accounted for all the installed 3rd party components
(including DBISAM and ElevateDB to name a few) which I have installed.
Hopefully they will still be installed and ready to use.

Has anyone updated to Update 3 and can possibly allay my (hopefully
unfounded) fears.

TIA...

IIRC, Update 1 kept all the components. The main thing is that the help is
all removed, so you may have to re-install the help for components.

Hopefully Update 3 does at least that much. Thanks Matthew.

I updated from D2007 Update 1 to Update 3 without any problems.

DBISAM, JCL, JVCL, FastReport, DelphiSpeedUp, Gexperts and my own
Components all worked fine after update.
