Thread Bug tracking software?
Wed, Sep 26 2007 6:23 AMPermanent Link

I've just written some code to take a madExcept report and fill in some
fields in a DBISAM table. The aim is to create some sort of bug tracking
software - nothing fancy but a way to manage these technical reports. Has
anyone else done anything like this? I'd appreciate thoughts and
suggestions as to what I need to do.

TVM - I suspect it isn't designed to be hacked as much as I need though.

Scott is the only one who can really comment on that Smiley

How are you getting on with TMaN?

I have mantis running on a web server, but I don't use it enough. But it
doesn't use DBISAM, and the main idea behind this is to have my "send
bug report" button in the app auto-feed into my database, hence I need my
custom code and DBISAM as the store.

I run it up occasionally, but nothing beyond that. I need to read the help
on groups etc so I can sort and filter better. Once I understand that,
thing will be more practical.

Paid work keeps getting in the way though!
