Matthew,

Correction - Sam just verified that we do have a PayPal account.  Just email
Sam at samyoung@elevatesoft.com with the order details and she'll take it
from there.

See, another good reason why you should never ask me about sales stuff. Smiley

Tim,

You need to send Sam out in the field some....   So she can do the opposite.   "It will do that.".....  "I don't know if it does that, but if not, it will only take Tim a day to put in for you".

lol.

No way.  As it stands, I can serve as the gateway so as to keep my workload
reasonable. Smiley

If that principle is applied any shop I use (eg Tesco) must apply the same criteria. PayPal are an intermediary, and as you say, a bank. That does mean that they have certain responsibilities. However, a lifetime limit of £1000 is crazy and weirdly enough, after I'd given up on them my limit was raised to £1700.

Roy,
This law actually makes sense. Do you use those silly gift cards
most stores have? Guess who really likes them? Org crime because now
they can load up the card with $1000 or more, and easily cross the
border with them and customs/police don't know how much is on the card.
It is much easier carrying a card instead of carrying stacks of money in
your door panels which can be confiscated. SmileWho's going to complain
that you're carrying a Best Buy card with $5000 credit on it?  Whose to
know how much money you have on your card? Having a money laundering law
will help slow down the movement of money from one country to another.
Don't forget that quite a few countries will prevent a large amount of
money from leaving their country without it being taxed. Other countries
like Italy I believe will prevent large amounts of personal money from
being transferred out of the country entirely.

Which law - I'm talking UK and you seem to be talking US.

That's one hell of a gift. I think those sort of things exist over here but, never having used them, I have no idea of the limit of money you can load on.
