Now we know that version 5 will be called ElevateDB, none of the "What
File Extensions Do You Think Are Right for DBISAM Version 5 Files ?" vote extensions seem appropriate. I suggest instead that ..EVD ..EVI ..EVB or some variation with .EV at the start would be better. /Matthew Jones/

That's the poll I'm talking about. (Okay, I used "vote"). But I just went
to the site, saw the poll, and thought how inappropriate the extensions were now we know the name. That's all. /Matthew Jones/

Needless to say, the extensions will be as short and descriptive as possible. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

Sean McCall | Roy,
The second was just a stretch to spell the author's name. I wouldn't want to imply that he was of less than average intelligence Sean Roy Lambert wrote: > Sean > > > >>.T (The data) >>.I (Index) >>.M (Memo/blob} > > > I like it, but to be consistent shouldn't you have a D for data? > > Roy |
