If one was to purchase V5 would one still be able to set the extension
oneself.

Rita,

That topic was brought up a couple of time when the first posts about
the extension changes came about.  As such I can confirm that the
answer is "Yes".  All that is changing is the defaults.  You will still
be able to set your own.

Hi Matthew,

Good point. Now that I know the name of the new product, I probably would
have voted for EDBDat, EDBIDX, etc instead of ESDat.

Should we reset the poll?  Smile

Perhaps, because it does say DBISAM Version 5 instead of ElevateDB. Smiley

Hi Tim,

Ahh - I see... you're about to release two seperate products. DBISam V5, AND
ElevateDB. Wow - you are a hard worker.  Wink

In all seriousness though (which is hard for me Smiley - I'd be happy to reset
the Polls, if everyone else was - giving it more of an ElevateDB flavour
than DBISam.

I'll see what I can do.  It should only take a couple of seconds.
