Eryk Bottomley | Greg,
> I am looking at using XLSMini (cut down version of XLSReadWriteII) > Ayone used it and have issues or any used anything they think is better > (or better yet FREE) (I am Delphi 5 btw and want a VCL only component) The interface is horrid but the functionality is 'perfect' ...in so far as I have needed it. I would not recommend it for a "casual" XLS dump of a grid or something but for seriously precise work it has stood up well .....I am speaking about the "full" version however. Eryk |

"B Miller" | I've tried a bunch and XLSReadWriteII was the only reliable one. I haven't
tried the new mini version. Regards, Bill Miller |

"Mike Shkolnik" | It depends from your task
- do you need to load the data from xls-file to DBISAM? If yes, you may use our SMImport: http://www.scalabium.com/smi There is the direct parser for xls-files and MS Excel installed is not required - do you need export your table to xls-file? If yes, you may use our SMExport: http://www.scalabium.com/sme -- With best regards, Mike Shkolnik E-mail: mshkolnik@scalabium.com WEB: http://www.scalabium.com "GregF" <footyfacts@yahoo.com> wrote in message news:94A094C3-2F3D-424F-8E8C-DF2783A07260@news.elevatesoft.com... > I am looking at using XLSMini (cut down version of XLSReadWriteII) > Ayone used it and have issues or any used anything they think is better > (or better yet FREE) (I am Delphi 5 btw and want a VCL only component) > > > gregF > > |
