I walked into a travel agent today a.m
The travel clerk had a 24" monitor and
it was turned 90 degrees so the sides became
the bottom and top. I have seen this before but
never really thought much about it as everything
is doable in computers.
So if I have say a grid showing for bookings at
a cab office I could see a lot more on screen if
it was turned that way around so how do I develop
an app to do that ? Turn sideways that is ?

I assume you just check Screen.WorkAreaWidth and Screen.WorkAreaHeight and size your form accordingly. If the screen doesn't give the rotated dimensions I have no idea.

Yippee found it you right click on desktop and click an in my case
NIVIDIA control panel and change the rotation from there. So when
I develop I can have it extra long. I hope not yet tested. more later

Its so easy to do why the hell the penny has just dropped
now I will never know ;-(
I just right clicked my desktop opened the Nvidia link
and clicked the 90degree left an voila.
So I ordered a 24" HP w2408h monitor it rotates Wink

On my current 19" yes I stood it on edge with my oldmans
vicegrip thingy bobs holding it up instead of just 28 records
in the grid I can see 56. I guess graphic artists and newspaper
guys have done it for years. So now huge lists via the web
can also be seen. I cant wait to see my 24" I will probaly get
around 80 records no problem. Retired my ass I'am born again.
