Roy Lambert NLH Associates Team Elevate | I need to get c3/4GB of tables to Tim. Its not something I'm going to do much so I don't want to buy web space. I should have a BT Digital Vault but their systems to activate it aren't working. I signed up to ADrive and its bombed 3 times with 200/300MB loaded.
Anyone recommend a good free provider? Roy Lambert |

Uli Becker | Roy ,
how about asking Tim to establish a ftp-account so that you can upload directly to his server? Uli |

Nosey Rita wants to know whats in them 3/4 gb tables ? )))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Also if u have to upload and Tim has to download then a temp ftp like Uli suggest is the only real cost affected way to go. Do they shrink if u convert to comma delimited and zip them ? I bet u already thought of that tho, how about a dvd via snailmail. Rita |

Its part of my recruitment app that I've been converting from DBISAM -> ElevateDB and from plain old controls -> TMS part of what I did was decide to store all emails, attachments etc in a single file. My data goes back to 2001 hence wadges. The encrypted files are now uploaded to my BT digital vault for Tim to get at. Roy Lambert |

I moved to sky not long ago and I'am getting a better service and when I do the math sky pkg all in with broadband its £28 pm cheaper for me + I get all my national phone calls free. "Raul" | Windows Skydrive - have you tried them. Still might have single file size
issues but always can compress (something like rar with multipe files). I use Amazon S3 myself (http://aws.amazon.com/) - it's not free but ridiculously cheap (i think our highest montly charge has been $0.50 and normally runs around $0.10 (amazon must be losing money on charging 10 cents to CC). The upload must take place with SOAP or REST and there are lot of utilities (including Firefix plugin) while download is just a HTTP link.
