Thread IDE component tabs disappearing when loading a project

There must be a simple explanation.

When starting D7, without a project loading, I have 70 or so tabs.  When I open one of my projects, the tab number drops to about 60.  I still have
access to all of the components because I can search for them.  But the tabs are missing.  Tabs such as 'Win 3.1' and 'Data Controls' for example.

Opening up other projects doesn't remove any tabs.

Anyone have any idea what could be the problem?

Thanks.

Just installed another component and all the tabs show up now.  Weird.

Clever D7 knows u cant use them missing components in this
project maybe, like when you do an IW project.
Do u use multiline like attached ?

That tab list pretty much explains your state of mind Smiley

Seeing TMS there - did you try HTMLTemplate yet?

I used to use multiline, but I switched the cnpack a few months ago.  I was
a huge proponent of Castalia but he kept raising the prices and the final
straw was when he started charging a separate price for each version of
Delphi.  I found cnpack and I love it.

Back to the disappearing components, truth is, I'm an idiot.  The components
were disappearing when I had my data module form selected.

To be honest, I was hoping no one would reply to the original message so I
let that little episode of bone-headedness drop.  Smile

I agree with you and didn't renew my support plan of Castalia as well.
Compared with the support from Tim Castalia is "stone age" btw.
Didn't know cnpack till now and will give it a try. Thanks for the hint.

I'am holding fire until my new puter arrives I will try out
your idea. That picture is from this old lappy that has
500mb of ram and I have to wait for D7 to find some
memory to keep up with my brain. ;-(
I have a vista lappy that runs Shista but I will not load
D7-or-D2007/9 on it.
My new puter is a triple booting AMD 64 running
Kubuntu 64 bit + WinXP 64 bit + WinXP 32 bit
I prefer the 32 os for the 32 bit stuff although everything
I have works ok on 64bit.
I will probaly install VMware and load win 2003 and
some other Linux distros. I want to see what some of
my friends rave about with Lazarus on Kubuntu.
My hosting biz is on hold my partner took a job I have
20 servers built a place to go but no Cissco kid grrrrrrr

If you have no Cisco Kid then maybe you can find Pancho - the silly
one!  But you are probably too young to remember that!

Hey Oh Rita! Away!

Cheers
