"Rita" | I would like a tool to convert text pages into
csv files. Each day I cut and paste horse race results to a text file then I have to enter the delimiters manually or womanlly in my case For example see line below... 2 11 Valley Of Giants 10-10 M J Bolger (2) Mrs J Harrington 7 12/1 I then add , 2 , 11,Valley Of Giants ,10-10 , M J Bolger (2) , Mrs J Harrington , 7, 12/1 With all the data thieving going on out there in the world there must be an easyway. Thanks Rita |

<< I would like a tool to convert text pages into csv files. Are they consistently using two spaces for separating data values, or is there some other pattern that can be used ? -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

I was just wondering if some tool had slipped by my radar. My 1st job when I dropped outa school in the 60's was as a shipping clerk. Row upon row of girls filling in forms in triplicate. 400 girls infact my hubby was on loan from Cambridge to Liverpool uni and he came to our office to computerise our system. He wasnt my hubby then but I stalked him anyway them same 400 girls all knuckled down and did all the records from day 1. I wish I had that fire power think of all the data u could copy.
