Roy Lambert NLH Associates Team Elevate | Since you lot are more technically aware than the average I'd like to know how many of you use multi-condition email rules.
I'm just getting to the part of my app where I need to think of this again. M$ stuff allows ANDs and ORs in email rules. I've never used that and I'm wondering if building in the ability to have these very clever rules (eg if From contains bert AND its the second of march paint it pretty pink type of things) is interesting technically and no practical use whatsoever. If any of you do use rules like this cn I have a sample please. Roy Lambert |

"Monte Etherton" | I use these frequently in OE also...mostly for sorting incoming emails into
folders. I also use it for reminders from my ISP calendar forwarded to whomever the calendar note states: Apply this rule after the message arrives Where the message body [contains 'only' and 'dae'] [and] Where the message is from the [mycompany.calendar] account Copy it to the [calendar-reminder] folder and Forward it to [dae@packbell*com] and Mark it as read and Stop processing more rules -Monte Etherton "Roy Lambert" <roy.lambert@skynet.co.uk> wrote in message news:1110284E-0D17-4F70-919A-083C3FE8B4DF@news.elevatesoft.com... > Since you lot are more technically aware than the average I'd like to know > how many of you use multi-condition email rules. > > I'm just getting to the part of my app where I need to think of this > again.
