david | I just started getting this error message when I load a project. It is triggered by a form that uses QuickReport components, but I haven't changed
that page in 6 months. Anyone have an idea how to fix this? |

With the level of detail given its not surprising there's no response. You haven't changed the page in 6 months have you recompiled the app? If not what has changed on your PC? If yes what has changed in your development environment? Have you tried stepping through the source in the debugger? What other info can you supply? Roy Lambert |

david | Sorry for leaving some info out.
I recompile the app about 6 to 10 times a day. About 4 or 5 days ago, I started getting the exception. Nothing has changed on my PC in a couple weeks. Using Delphi 7 Pro. The exception occurs when a form in my app tries to show. I created a new application with no problems. I added the QuickRep form (Quickrpt) on a blank new form with no code and it crashes. I can add any other other of the QuickReport components with no problem. It's that first QuickRpt component. Is there any way to replace that component or rebuild the quickreport package to get around this bug? Thanks for any help. Cheers, David Roy Lambert wrote: David With the level of detail given its not surprising there's no response. You haven't changed the page in 6 months have you recompiled the app? If you have the source you can recompile it but it sounds as though you haven't. What you may be able to do is uninstall quickreport and then reinstall from your Delphi disk. Its possible that this will fix it, but its also possible that it won't. Try posting on embarcadero.public.delphi.thirdpartytools.general Roy Lambert |

david | ARGH!!!!
Stupid, stupid, stupid windows. Turns out if the default printer is unavailable, it generates the exception. Thank you to everyone who responded here and sent me emails. |
