Herb (Kraft) | I know it's been discussed before.
What's the latest thought among the group about planner/calendar components? I am thrilled to have to do one, again. Thanks Herb (Kraft) |

I'm using TMS. Its for what I would regard as something fairly simple but its rather difficult to manage. Why not ask on the CodeGear 3rd party ng? Roy Lambert |

"Harry de Boer" | Herb,
We make extensive use of planners in our apps. Played a while with some of them that are around. We decided to go with TResourceAllocationChart from SadmanSoftware. Very good, very flexible, very good support! David | I agree about TMS. I use their components as well.
Their component pack is a terrific value and it includes the Calendar components as well. I've look at Dev Express' calendar components and while pretty, they don't look $300 better than TMS's components. "J. B. Ferguson" | Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I've tried both the TMS calendar
and the DevEx ExpressScheduler and have been sold on ExpressScheduler since it first came out. It is VERY simple to use, it has a lot of functionality and has worked first time/every time for me. Your mileage, of course, may vary. -- Regards, Jan Ferguson David wrote: <<I agree about TMS. "Lance Ras" | J.B.
I agree with you in regards to beauty. The DeveloperXpress stuff just looks extremely polished... And their help files have a reasonable amount of content, to which TMS has always been, in my humble opinion, severly lacking. I think TMS spends more time developing and afterthought about the documentation. I have had TMS components for a while now and have some of the DevX stuff for a bit as well. They each bring something to the table, but Julian has been around a long time (Orpheus) and to me holds a strong track record (If I was to choose between). Lance "J. B.
