Delims = [' ', ',', '.', ';', ':', '!', '"', '?', '(', ')', '/', '\', '>', '<', '[', ']', '}', '{'];

Any comments or additions anyone?

Good suggestions. I added #13#10#9 and then thought anything < #32 should be considered a delimiter.

Beware the single quote, which means you can't spot all words properly. As
in can't.

And also peoples names and places in the Pacific.  I live just along
from Aro'a (often written Aroa)- the single quote tells you where to to
put the glottal stop - very useful when you don't know how to pronounce
place names like Oao and Ngatangiia!

Oops! typo!  Of course I meant Ooa!  (O'oa)
