Delphi 2007 and RAD Studio 2007 have been on release since early August 2007, if I
remember correctly.t

Delphi Tiburón is due out this year, see roadmap here: http://dn.codegear.com/article/36620

D2007 is almost a year old and RAD2007 simply packages it in, along with a
few other things.

While there is still some simplicity in D7, I've moved all my projects to
D2007.  It has been pretty solid and the documentation has been much
improved (compared to versions after D7 and before D2007).

I'm lucky enough to have code for components that are dead and have been
able to migrate up.  Some I've deprecated for improved components.

Regardless..... you'll find ElevateDB and DBISAM working well with D2007.
