"Dean Atteberry" | I cannot figure out how to delete a field from a table I had previously
created with dbsys. Any idea what I am missing? [please no comments about "2 sandwiches short of a picnic" ] I even read the help, but didn't see anything about how to delete a field from a table structure. Thanks!........... --Dean. |

"J. B. Ferguson" | From the dbsys help file:
"This grid shows the field structure information for the table. You may use the UP and DOWN arrow keys to move from field to field. If you move past the last defined field in the grid you will be allowed to add a new field at the end. You may also insert a new field anywhere by pressing the INSERT key. To delete an existing field hold down the CTRL key and press the DELETE key. You will be asked to confirm the field deletion before the field is actually removed. " Also, if you right-click on any of the components, there is context sensitive help under "What's This?" The "What's This" help on the Alter Table grid gives the same information as the help file. -- Regards, Jan Ferguson Dean Atteberry wrote: > I cannot figure out how to delete a field from a table I had > previously created with dbsys.
