Is it possible to do something like this in V4 Update TOP 10 Set value = 100 from mytable where something = 4 Essentially only updating the top 10 rows in the result set? |

However, you could dump the result of a SELECT TOP query into a temporary table, and then do the UPDATE with a join to that table on some key field, therefore accomplishing what you want. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
