Mark,

If you purchase the 4.x DBISAM-ODBC-STD product, you automatically get
access to all past versions of the product, including 3.x.

OK, now that we've got the ODBC driver installed and working (v3.30),
our customer is wondering about using it remotely thru the DBISAM server.

My question is: Since our client products work thru an ASTA/DBISAM
server, we don't use DBISAM client-server. so is it safe/reliable to use
the DBISAM server for remote ODBC access concurrently with our clients
using the ASTA server on the same (v3.30) data tables??
Should I restrict their access to Read-only??

and if that configuration is ok, is it correct that they can have up to
5 remote odbc users with the included dbserver, but if they need more
than 5 users, then they would need the DBISAM-ODBC-CS product?

Thanks!
Mark

Sure, that won't be a problem.

That's strictly up to you.

Correct.
