I know you are very busy to deploy ElevateDB but is there an ETA of new build of DBISAM ? The incident #2216 is specific to 4.25 build 1 or all minor versions contains this problem ? Some users are complaining about #8965 corrupted index but I am using 4.22 build 4 without problems. There is something new on higher versions that produce this problems or they are specific situations ? I am planning to upgrade my instalations to 4.25 soon and that is why I am asking you about the date. Eduardo |

<< I know you are very busy to deploy ElevateDB but is there an ETA of new build of DBISAM ? >> Not right now, no. It will be next week at the earliest. << The incident #2216 is specific to 4.25 build 1 or all minor versions contains this problem ? >> It was in all versions of 4.x (and 3.x, for that matter). << Some users are complaining about #8965 corrupted index but I am using 4.22 build 4 without problems. There is something new on higher versions that produce this problems or they are specific situations ? >> We don't have any outstanding issues with index corruption in 4.x, nor have we had any since 4.21. You should start looking at environmental issues that may be causing problems. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
